Next Intake
Our next 7 week Beginner class starts on Monday 10 February 2025. This is an information session, so please do not bring your dogs. We would appreciate you arriving at 6:45pm to finalise the registration process, before the session starts at 7:00pm.
Requirements:
- The minimum age for your dog to attend is 18 weeks.
- Dogs must have had their 3rd vaccination. Your dog cannot attend classes until 2 weeks after receiving their 3rd vaccination.
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated (C5 or C7) + yearly boosters required.
What does a 7 week Beginner class involve?
During the 7 week beginner class, we will take you through basic obedience training, where we will show you how to teach your dog basic commands such as: heel, sit, stand, drop, stay, and left and right turns.
What happens on the first week?
On the first week of your course please, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG. This 40 minute session will be used to explain the training process and for you to understand typical dog behaviours and how to address them. Much of training your dog is also about training the owner.
You MUST bring:
- Your dog's recent vaccination certificates.
- Completed dog information form.
- Completed membership form.
- Signed club rules document.

Please note, attending this first week is COMPULSORY. If you do not attend, you cannot join the class and will need to wait for the next registration period.
How much is the 7 week Beginner course?
The 7 week Beginner course is $85, plus an annual membership fee of $35. You can pay via cash or EFTPOS on the first night. For more information on pricing, please see our Pricing page.
